THE AYURVEDIC KITCHEN SPICES
The Ayurvedic kitchen spices are not used just to give extra taste to food, but for their healing properties.
Curcuma, for instance, is used for skin problems and basil is used for respiratory problems.
Well-known Ayurvedic spices are:
basilicum, coriander, cumin, kardemon, cloves, curcuma, ginger, fennel, saffron and black pepper.

The Ayurvedic herbs are used for their healing properties.
In Western countries they are transformed in to pills and in Asian countries people use the whole plant.
