The lotus as a symbol

In Asian countries the lotus is a symbol for the rebirth of body and mind, growth, purity
and high consciousness.
The blue lotus is a symbol for wisdom, knowledge, expression and intelligence.
It is connected to the 5th chakra.
The lotus is a symbol for personal growth from a materialistic (without consciousness) level
to a spiritual (with consciousness) level.



The lotus grows in five elements and in four worlds.
The lotus begins to grow in earth (= material world), then it grows in the water (= emotional
world), it comes in contact with the air/ether (= mental world) by the water level,
later it becomes a very beautiful and shining flower (spiritual world).
